INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS

Since 2020, the Managerial Odyssey, a French non-profit organization, sends a duo of professionals on a 6 to 10 month learning expedition during which they will interview inspiring persons. These interviews focus on a specific management-related theme, chosen by the pair themselves each year.

This year’s duo includes Florian Poirier, an engineer by training (INSA Lyon) and manager of a 130 persons industrial team, and Daana Ismailova, who holds a Master’s degree in Management (ESSEC Business School) and works as a professional coach for individuals and a change management consultant for organizations.

Their 2025 theme explores the mindset of managers and leaders.
They aim to uncover how leaders around the world navigate pressure, handle responsibility, and maintain balance, as well as to understand how resilience and well-being influence team performance and organizational success.

The mission of the organization is to bring innovative management practices and forward-thinking approaches to work from around the world back to France. During this journey, they are supported by partners from the private and academic sector. Back in France, their results will be shared through conferences, workshops and articles. Their public is French executives, HR, managers and also students.
